WE STAND AS ONE

Justice for Ryan Hinton

On the morning of May 1, an unnamed Cincinnati police officer fatally shot 18-year-old Ryan Hinton.

His family was left devastated—and with no clear answers. In response, they launched an independent investigation to uncover the truth behind Ryan’s death.

But just days later, the focus shifted. Ryan’s father, Rodney Hinton, was involved in a fatal crash that killed a Deputy Sheriff. He now faces the death penalty. As headlines turned to Rodney, Ryan’s story risked being forgotten.

That’s why Cotton Crop Clothing partnered with the Hinton family to create something lasting: a bold red shirt that reads

“We Stand As One.”

It’s not just a shirt. It’s a call to remember. A symbol of truth, unity, and resistance.

"Thank you Cotton Crop Clothing for supporting the Hinton's ongoing situation. We Stand As 1!

." — Hinton Family Member

HONORING RESILLIENCE, PERSISTENCE, & SACRIFICE

Cotton Crop Clothing, known for blending fashion with history, understands that the fight for justice today is tied to the struggles of those who came before. the brand honors those untold stories—from enslaved ancestors to civil rights activists—and connects them to today’s battles. The shirts are more than a statement of solidarity; they represent the enduring resilience and strength of a people who have been fighting for justice for centuries.

Black history, often left untold or erased, needs to be remembered and revered. The ancestors who endured slavery, segregation, and systemic oppression laid the foundation for the freedom and rights many of us enjoy today. Their struggles, sacrifices, and triumphs are woven into the fabric of modern-day activism, reminding us that we are part of a legacy that demands respect, understanding, and action.

By telling these stories, especially the stories of today, and wearing symbols of unity, we honor the past while standing in solidarity for a future of justice. Our fabric isn’t just about garments; they are a living tribute to those who paved the way and a call to ensure their sacrifices are never forgotten.

To ignore the past is to deny the future. Through remembrance, representation, and reverence, we carry the torch of our ancestors’ fight for equality and justice—today, and always.
